Whether you have a new pup, an older dog, or a recent rescue, Lost Our Home dog training options can help them learn how to behave appropriately at home, at the dog park, and on-the-go. Our in-house behaviorist, Julie Jacobus (CPDT, ABCMT, CGC Evaluator), will teach fun, informative, and highly effective classes, private lessons, and workshops. Learn training skills that will enhance your bond and help your favorite Fido be their best self! All classes meet for an hour a week for six weeks.

Basic Elementary

Our Basic level classes offer everything you need to teach your dog to be a well-mannered family member. 

Learn: Sit, Down, Stay, Loose Leash Walking, Wait, Come, Leave It, Touch, Wait, Settle, and Go To Your Place

Resolve: Jumping, Pulling on the Leash, Barking, Digging, Counter Surfing, Door Dashing

Puppy Preschool

Puppy classes are for pups up to 10 months old. These classes will set your pup up for success and will include appropriate puppy socialization. All puppies must be vaccinated prior to the start of class (we do not offer vaccinations to the general public).

Learn: Sit, Down, Stay, Loose Leash Walking, Come, Leave It, Drop, It, Touch, Settle

Resolve: Jumping, Pulling on leash, Barking, Digging, House Training

Citizen Canine

Our Intermediate-level class is perfect for any dog that has completed a basic level or puppy class (here or at another facility.) The Intermediate-level class builds on the skills and cues learned in prior classes, and prepares your dog to take the Canine Good Citizen Test, which is administered on the last day of class.
